Something else to see when visiting the Moonta Tourist Information Centre Turntables played an important part in the history of railways in Australia and the world. Our Turntable on display is 16.3 metres long and weighs 20 tonnes. Proudly displayed in the Historical Broad Gauge Railway Precinct adjacent to the Moonta Mines Tourist Information Centre.
