This year 2023 marks the centenary of the closing of the world-famous Moonta Mines on the Yorke Peninsula. Over the past year, the Trust has been working on a major conservation and tourism initiative with funding from the Commonwealth Government that will be completed and progressively opened to the public over the course of 2023.
