National Trust of South Australia are proud to be a part of the Kernewek Lowender Copper Coast Cornish Festival in May this year. This world-renowned festival will be held from the 12 until 18 May 2025, inclusive.
All our venues will be operating during this week. We have added some extra experiences for you to enjoy and learn about the Cornish Miner’s and their families who settled this region, once the largest Cornish settlement outside of Cornwall. Walk in the footsteps of the Cornish Miners and their families, make a traditional Cornish Pasty or listen to June Ladner (famous in our region) who is passionate about telling the story of her ancestors who, although extremely poor made the most of what they had and produced some sensational food for their families at the Traditional Cornish Cooking Class and demonstration”.
